Sizing Information

The GP Pro gloves are designed for track use and fit more snugly in a given size than gloves that are made for everyday street riding. So if you are sometimes between sizes, you’ll want to go with the larger size. Otherwise, the gloves are consistent with the major brands we’ve carried—Teknic, Joe Rocket, Olympia, etc, so hopefully you’ve had some experience with buying gloves and can choose based upon the fit of a previous pair. If you have no previous experience with glove sizing, go here for help.

Our Two Cents

The GP Pro glove offers fit and features geared toward track use or aggressive street sport use. Typical features found on a glove like this are the molded knuckle protectors, reinforced palm, long gauntlet with Velcro-close wrist strap, etc. This glove also offers a connection between the third and fourth finger (take the “View Larger Pictures” link above to see a good close-up shot of this). This connecting piece helps protect the smallest two fingers from damage in case of a slide. The two smallest fingers are most susceptible to injury and tying them together helps protect both. This particular style has another feature I liked when I tried them on… there is a little panel of flex material just past the knuckle on the first and second finger. This panel allows for easier movement and since those are the fingers most used for the clutch and brake, it seems this would be a welcome thing.
