These boots are a great option for people looking for the style of a casual shoe with some added protection. The majority of the outside of the boot is a soft suede-like material that gives it a really nice style. If I saw someone wearing these boots under jeans and didn’t know any better I would think they were wearing tennis shoes (take the “View Larger Pictures” link above to see the boots worn under jeans). There is a leather strap that closes over the top of the shoelaces to give you a tighter fit and to help prevent a loose lace from getting hooked on something. The heel and toe box areas are reinforced to provide some protection and to help the shoe retain its shape when shifting. There is also dense padding on the inner ankle to provide some additional protection to that portion of your foot. To help keep your shifter from wearing on the top of the boots there is molded rubber that also adds to the styling of the boot.
