Alpinestars Alpha Touring WP Boots
Sizing Information:
The overall fit/size of this new style seems “true” to their published size chart (see below), so if you are comfortable with a certain size from previous boots, then choose the same size. I’d consider the width of the men’s sizes to be normal to slightly wide (D or E).

The Alpha Touring WP boots are an affordable choice from Alpinestars for a waterproof street boot. The boots have a waterproof membrane of an unnamed brand, but using “generic” materials can cut the cost of a product drastically and may not impact performance noticeably (compare the price of these to similar Alpinestars GoreTex boots). The boot looks very well made. It has stiffeners in the shin, heel and toe box areas and also has a firm round armor disc at the inside ankle bone. The literature says the uppers are leather, but it sure looks like synthetic leather to me (hard to tell though). Most top end MC boots are made of synthetic leather these days anyway, so no worries there. The interior of the boots are finished in a very nice, breathable nylon material. Take the “View Larger Pictures” link above to see some good close up shots of the boots.
