Alpinestars Tech Touring WP Boots
Sizing Information:
The overall fit/size of this new style seems “true” to their published size chart (see below), so if you are comfortable with a certain size from previous boots, then choose the same size. I’d consider the width of the men’s sizes to be normal to slightly wide (D or E).

Product Video:
The Tech Touring WP boot is a premium design. Most waterproof boots are constructed with a membrane that is installed in the boot between the outer shell and the interior lining. The material is thin and it looks a lot like a latex glove. But this boot employs a new technology whereby the GoreTex is bonded to the inside surface of the leather. The advantage is that the membrane is less likely to become damaged or pinched and will keep out water better. The outer shell of this boot is high quality cowhide and should break in to be very comfortable. The armor includes an outside ankle bone protector (hidden) and a molded shin protector. The toe box and heel cup have internal stiffeners as well. The sole is thin enough for good control, but should provide long wear. Overall I like the boots very much (and I should for the price, right!). Take the “View Larger Pictures” link above to see some close-ups.
