FirstGear Express Boots
|
Sizing Information:
This boot is sold in European sizes. FirstGear offers the following conversion rounded to the nearest US whole size. We have added our own conversion using a graphic conversion chart they offer on the box. It gives just a bit more precise conversion. Our chart works better for me personally since I normally wear a 12 and I thought the size 46 we ordered to shoot pictures fit about a 1/2 size small.

The Express boot offers comfort and casual styling in a lower height boot for everyday riders. These boots have a nice wide sole with a pretty aggressive tread pattern which street riders will appreciate. The boots should also be comfortable for walking. I don’t see a great deal of specific protective features, but you do get an inside ankle bone protector and some reinforcement in the heel and toe areas. The tongue is over-sized and padded, but does not have hard plastic reinforcement. Hard armor is a plus if you crash, but many times the armor can detract from rider comfort, so this boot is trying to strike a balance. The Velcro/zipper closure system is typical for a boot like this and easy to operate. The boots are made waterproof by a mid-liner between the boot’s outer leather shell and inner soft lining. Reflective material is generous on the sides and back of the boot for increased night time visibility. Have a look at our photo gallery by taking the “View Larger Pictures” link above.
