These Infinity boots are some pretty tough looking boots! With the side buckles, and the heavy suede panel on the inside ankle area of the boot, they remind me of a cross between a motocross boot and a street boot. With the off road design leanings, I think they’d be ideal for those with dual sport bikes. And since they are waterproof, they’d be good for almost any conditions (except maybe really hot weather :). Being a heavy thick boot though, you’d probably not want to use them for riding sport bikes with more delicate shifters due to lack of feel. The buckles are functional and do provide the ability to adjust the instep fit of the boots. Overall, though, they are roomy through the foot and wouldn’t be good for those with narrow feet. The calves are more adjustable than most boots of this type. I’m wearing the boots in the photo, and I have 16” calves and have no problem with fit even with pants tucked in. I’d say 17” calves would be about the max before there would be too little Velcro to fasten at the top closure.

I have prior ankle fractures and sprains and wanted a tall boot with roll support, the Infinity GTX Touring have great ankle protection while remaining flexible fore and aft for walking without a B-movie monster gait. I wear a 9. (Read more...)
