Sizing Information

These pants are sold in men’s waist sizes. Below is a table we developed to help you choose a size that is best for you. There are some elastic panels in the waist which makes the fit a bit easier, and there are also adjustment straps which allow you to cinch down the waist a few inches, so if you are between sizes, you can go with the next larger size and snug down the waist with the adjustment straps.

Our Two Cents

The Titanium Air 3 mesh pants will be a very welcome pair of pants when the weather really heats up. The outer shell of the pants is mostly a loose weave mesh style and there are solid textile reinforcements at the knees, hips and seat to make the pants more protective. The full air will allow free flow of air through the pants in the summer heat. But the pants come with a very nice removable quilted liner that can be used in mild to cooler weather to keep you comfortable, so these pants will work in a wide range of temperatures. For impact protection, you get removable “GP” type knee armor in the knees and foam padding pieces in the hip area. I really like the height adjustment feature of the knee armor. It helps fine tune the fit of the pants to your leg length. I’ve got a good shot of the pocket, which has three Velcro strips both top and bottom of the armor. They are spaced such that you can trap the armor between three different pairs of Velcro strips to adjust the height. Simple and effective. The overall style is ideal for street and sport riders, but unlike race pants, the legs are cut large enough to wear over boots rather than tucked in. There are some adjustment straps at the waist (see comments above under sizing) and adjusters to help place the armor firmly on your knee. You also get a generous amount of reflective piping for night time visibility. Please take the “View Larger Pictures” link above to see some good close-up pictures of the pant’s features.
