Granted, we only have an odd selection of sizes and colors, but what a bargain! Consider this jacket for guest passengers or youth (many small sizes left). My comments from previous seasons on this style: The Ballistic 4.0 jacket is great for the street or touring rider. The 3/4 length design provides more coverage than a short waist style and is preferred by touring riders and commuters. This jacket offers removable dual density foam armor in the shoulders and elbows and it also has a foam back protector. For hot weather, you can use the large biceps vents and the horizontal rear exhaust vent. I like the design of the biceps vents… they have a built in semi-rigid strip above the vent so the vent will better maintain an open position (you’d have to see it in person to get the idea). In cooler weather, you can close up the vents and utilize the full sleeve thermal liner. The jacket has a short rear connection zipper for pants. I’d recommend the matching Ballistic Pants or the Alter Ego Pants.
