The gauntlet has high density padding but remains very flexible at the wrist. The molded knuckle protector offers “ram air” cooling that admits a flow of air over the back of the hand—good idea! The palm of the gloves is made with a soft and flexible kangaroo hide. The kangaroo hide is well regarded by racers for having great feel for the controls. Overall I’m very impressed with the quality of the materials and the construction of this glove, and for a glove that offers this amount of protection, I am surprised at how comfortable it is (too often you have to compromise comfort for protection).
