Note about Oxtar: This closeout sale is a result of a “re-branding” by the Italian based company that makes Oxtar boots. For ‘08, the almost identical line will be re-introduced as TCS. The re-branding was a result of a change of ownership of the parent company and the need to settle a trademark dispute with another company (has nothing to do with the product). We purchased the entire remaining Oxtar street boot inventory which we are selling at closeout prices until gone. Prices for the new TCS line are considerably higher, so take advantage of the Oxtar closeout sale while inventory remains.

These boots are sold in European sizes. We have found Oxtar’s size conversion chart to be accurate. Use the chart below to select your European size based on the size you normally wear.

Our Two Cents
The Sunray Gore-Tex boot was made with touring and commuting in mind. This boot will offer protection and comfort in a wide range of weather conditions. The boot is made of a water resistant leather with a Gore-Tex waterproof lining. A full length zippered closure allows you to get in and out of the boot easily. The boot also offers some good shin and ankle protection, but is still fairly easy to walk around in. The boot was made with a large soft flex zone at the front of the ankle to help you walk naturally. The back of the boot has a discreet reflective insert for added visibility at night. This boot is very similar in construction to the men’s Oxtar Matrix 2 boot which has been a “best seller” for us for a number of years.
