Power Trip US Army Branded Gear Blackhawk Leather Jacket

My comments from the ‘06 season: The Blackhawk jacket is an all-black leather sport style jacket complete with armor and back pad. The armor is a CE approved “turtle shell” type and the back pad is dual density (optional CE type back pad offered—see below). The leather is thick and heavy duty and will provide great protection in case of a fall. The jacket also has good climate control features. Take the “View Larger Pictures” link above to see the zippered vents on the front and back and also the removable panels under each arm. The removable panels come off to expose flow-thru mesh material underneath. One problem though: the way they positioned the zippers on these panels makes them kind of hard to work with. You can put them on and take them off, but it takes a few minutes. So count on only using those things seasonally! Anyway, aside from that one little annoyance, it’s a very nice jacket. And of course the big deal is the US ARMY logos!
