Sizing Information
We find the Chicane suit to run smaller than most other one piece suits we sell. In general the suits run about one size smaller than other comparable suits. And the overall height of the suit will be fine for average to shorter riders, but will be too short for anybody above average height. We have developed the following chart based on in-house measurements.

Our Two Cents
The Teknic Chicane suit is a great option for the beginning racer or aggressive street rider. The suit offers quality cowhide leather construction and all of the basic protective features needed for racing. The shoulders, elbows and knees all come equipped with comfortable removable dual density foam armor and there is also a removable back protector. The elbow and knee armor is located in pockets fastened directly to the leather shell which is a very secure design. The suit’s construction includes Spandex panels in the underarm (down to the forearm), crotch/thigh and behind the knees. The Spandex panels help improve the fit and give you freedom of motion on the bike. There are also accordion stretch zones above the knees and behind the shoulders to help increase your comfortable range of motion. The knees have Velcro patches for the attachment of knee sliders. We recommend the use of Joe Rocket Speedmaster knee sliders (see link below). Overall I think this suit is comfortable and well constructed, and will work out great as a high quality first suit that isn’t going to break the bank. It's great suit for the price. Out all the suits I have owned this one has been my favorite during those hot summer months. The perf leather suit breathes well and stays cool. I low sided in the suit and it held-up well. No repairs needed.
