Joe Rocket Reactor Boots

Fit seems to be about right in length. The area around the instep is more roomy than some, so if you have a “thick” foot, these will work well. With a thin foot, you’ll need extra socks :)

We’ve been selling the Reactor boot steadily for about three years so we know it’s a good solid design, but this boot will not appear in the ‘07 Joe Rocket line-up since it is being replaced by a newer design. As a result of its phase out, we were able to buy the distributor’s remaining inventory at a great price. The Reactor is a street boot design. It’s just a bit shorter than some and fits close to the ankle with the intention that you’d wear the pant legs over the boot rather than tucked in. These boots have a simple Velcro closure at the instep and the top of the shaft which makes them very easy to put on and take off. The front shin area has a hard plastic insert and there are a couple round inserts on either side of the ankle for impact protection. Like other sport bike boots, these have thin soles to help you get your foot under the shifter (but they are a bit softer compound than race boots so they’ll be more comfortable for street use).
