Our Two Cents

It’s not often we get a great deal on a street/cruiser style boot, but this one is the best deal I think we’ve ever been able to offer on such a style. The Sturgis combines the construction of a heavy duty work boot or hiking boot with a few styling queues for the cruiser bike rider. I am impressed with the overall construction of this boot. The leather used feels durable and high quality. And the sole is very sturdy. The boots have an instep strap that adds some styling pizazz. At first glance, I thought the straps were going to be a hassle if it was necessary to unbuckle them each time to take the boots off and on, but you can get in and out of the boots with only the laces above the strap. The speed lace system on the top few eyelets helps with this also. The toe box, sole and heel areas are reinforced to hold up to shifting and riding on pegs. The Moto GP Pylon gloves offer good protection and covering for a gauntlet glove. I use these in 50-90 degree weather with no problems and really like the way they feel while still allowing good use of the controls. They have padding rather than hard armor so I would recommend these for normal street riding rather than track days. (Read more...)

Boots worked GREAT! I dropped the bike on my boot and my foot was fairly protected (even tho the boots got messed up). The goggles are just funny, I keep them in the back in case I gotta give a female a ride and need eye protection. (Read more...)
