Fieldsheer Sport Leather Pants

These pants are sold in US waist sizes. The pants seem to run pretty true to the stated waist size of the pants; choose the size you normally wear in slacks or pants. The waist band has stretch material on each side and two Velcro adjustment tabs which allows them some flexibility in fit. Inseam measurements are given below. Keep in mind that sport pants like this only go to the top of the foot, so add about 1 1/2” to compare to the inseam you normally buy in jeans. See my comments below about the double ankle zipper. The ankle opening size is adjustable which is handy for those with larger than average ankles/calves.

These Sport leather pants are made for aggressive street riders and/or track racers. The pants have a full zipper for attachment to Fieldsheer jackets (that have the compatible zipper) and when connected, make a nice two piece race suit. The pants also have a short rear zipper than can be connected to Fieldsheer jackets that are not equipped with the full circumference zipper. The knees are equipped with “GP” type armor. The height of the armor is adjustable by way of Fieldsheer’s clever adjustable height armor pocket. You just figure out the best height of the armor and use the horizontal Velcro strips to trap the armor in one of three height positions. Neat! Besides knee armor, the hips have memory foam pads. The pants are form fitted and tapered at the ankle for tucking into sport or race boots. The closure at the ankle is a two zipper arrangement. One zipper is just to open up the ankle closure to facilitate getting your leg through, but the other can be left open or closed to adjust the overall fit (a nice feature for those with larger than average legs/calves).
