Sizing Information

These jackets are sold in men’s chest sizes. You can choose the size you normally wear in men’s suit sizes, or you can measure your chest to find out what size you are. These jackets are a sport cut which means that the belly size is smaller than the chest size… by about 6 inches. So when you measure, put a tape around your belly and make sure that your belly is not bigger than about 6 inches less than the jacket size you are considering. Example: a Size 46 jacket will accommodate up to a 46” chest and a 40” belly.

Our Two Cents

Here is an especially good deal on a full featured leather sport jacket. We bought a load of these jackets at an extremely good price because Fieldsheer is changing distributors and this style is not part of the new distributor’s ‘10 line-up. Take advantage of the savings while this inventory remains. About the jacket: The Track Paddock II from Fieldsheer is no wimpy jacket, this thing is solid. The leather seems to be quite substantial, and the overall construction leads me to believe this jacket will hold up quite well. The CE approved armor in the back is a nice touch (it’s not just a flimsy foam pad), and CE armor is also included in the elbows and shoulders. For some night-time visibility, there is Phoslight® reflective piping that runs around the front and rear of the torso. This jacket also includes a fully sleeved liner which should keep you toasty warm on those cold days. One thing about that liner that is pretty neat is it can actually be worn on its own as a light jacket/windbreaker, so that expands the usefulness of the Paddock II as well, and for those that ride a sport bike, storage space is always an issue, so being able to wear the liner as a windbreaker will cut down on packing problems for touring. For days that aren’t quite so cold, there are zippered vents across the chest, at the biceps, and a rear exit vent across the upper back. This isn’t going to flow air like perforated leather, but it’s nice to have some venting available. Still, I wouldn’t call this a warm weather jacket. It’s not very often you see a price like this on a fully featured leather jacket so take advantage while you can. Click on the link above to see custom pictures we took in our photo studio.
