Icon Pursuit Perforated Leather Jacket

The jackets run a touch on the small side as compared to other “alpha” sized jackets. We’ve listed the chest sizes indicated by Icon (stamped in the jackets) for each jacket size. And since we feel they run a bit small, we’ve also indicated our recommendation for max chest and belly. Check your size using a tape measure and refer to the chart below. You’ll want to choose the smallest size that will be big enough for both your chest and your belly.

The Pursuit jacket is a great choice for crash protection and hot weather. Leather will out-perform mesh/textile jackets in case you fall, and only a fully perforated leather will come close to providing comfort in hot weather situations. This jacket offers full perf leather construction. And to provide some warmth on a cool morning or when riding in the mountains (with wide temp fluctuations), the jacket comes with a removable full sleeve wind stop jacket lining. Many mesh styles have this type of lining which is a great idea. For crash protection, you get CE approved “turtle shell” type armor in the shoulders and elbows and a foam back pad. Take a look at the “View Larger Pictures” link above to see this jacket’s most unique feature—zip off sleeves! Icon says it adds “attitude”. Hmmmm… OK, whatever. Anyway, you can zip’em off and ask your friends if your attitude has taken a turn for the better or for the worse.
