Sizing Information
This jacket is sold in women’s dress sizes and the women in our office find them to be accurate to the stated size. Select a jacket based on the size you normally wear in women’s clothing.
Our Two Cents
The Daytona jacket has a sports cut, but it’s a bit longer than other waist length jackets. We’ll call it “hip length”. We bought all the inventory on this jacket so we are able to sell them at a terrific price while supplies last. The leather on this jacket is made of a thick cowhide and is very high quality. There are two zippered hand warmer pockets and an interior document pocket. For protection, the shoulders and the elbows come with flexible dual density armor. The shoulder armor is removable. The elbow armor is secured to the jacket shell to help improve the chances that the armor will be in place when your elbow hits the pavement, however it is not removable. For cooler weather use, the jacket comes with a removable insulated vest liner, but for warmer weather use, you can remove the liner and take advantage of the perforations in the torso which will allow a lot of air through for cooling. There is also a full circumference zipper for connecting compatible Teknic pants (sorry, but ladies pants are not part of our closeout group this fall), and a belt loop jean to jacket connector. New Enough was very good about exchanging the jacket, because it had significant discolorations on it. This was after I had the jacket for a month trying to suck it up and not complain.
