Our Two Cents
The Suzuki ‘Busa textile jacket is a short waist, sport-style which is a staple for street riders in all parts of the country due to its comfort, features and its climate control design. Its outer shell is made of abrasion resistant textile material and includes a lot of art work and racing patches. Take the “view Larger Pictures” link above to see those up close. For climate control, you get two bicep zippered intake vents, two more vents on the lower abdomen and two rear exhaust vents which can be used in the summer. And a removable vest-type thermal liner is included for use in cooler weather. For crash protection, the jacket comes with a complete set of removable CE rated “turtle shell” type armor and a dual density foam back pad. An upgraded CE approved back protector is available (see below). Need pants? I’d suggest the Ballistic 5.0 pants (for wet and cold weather) or the Alter Ego Pants (for warmer climates). The jacket doesn’t include a zipper connection for those pants, but does have some snap-close loops to be used to connect with jeans and a belt.
