The Strike is a sharp looking jacket which offers protection and climate control features. Many waterproof jackets are constructed with a waterproof mid-liner (between the outer shell and the inner nylon lining) to keep water off the body. The mid-liner construction has a couple disadvantages though. It virtually eliminates venting capabilities, and also leaves you with a soaking wet outer shell. This jacket actually has a waterproof shell, which keeps the water out but retains some basic venting capability. Also, the contents of your pockets will be kept dry. This jacket also comes with a very nice full sleeve thermal liner which will keep you warm down to very low temperatures. The jacket comes with CE approved shoulder and elbow armor and a foam back protector. There is a good amount of reflective piping around the arms and running down the back for increased nighttime visibility. Take the “View Larger Pictures” link above to see this jacket’s features in detail.
