Sizing Information

The overall fit of this jacket will work for the “average build”, so choose a size based upon what you usually wear in men’s jackets/shirts. Tourmaster marks the various size jackets with the following chest sizes:

Small 40
Medium 42
Large 44
XL 46
XXL 48

These chest sizes seem appropriate, so you can use your suit coat size or chest measurement to double check. You’ll want to check your belly also and make sure that your belly does not exceed 4” less than the chest size above (example, XL/46 will handle a max belly of about 42”). This jacket has forearm and waist straps to help you customize the fit.

Our Two Cents

The Jett Jacket offers tremendous value in a full featured sport style jacket. It seems that jacket manufacturers keep adding features and more elaborate styling to their jacket models over the years and the corresponding price keeps rising with each iteration. It’s nice to see TourMaster offer a rugged, functional coat with CE certified armor that almost anybody could afford. Take the “View Larger Pictures” link above to see some good close-up pictures of this jacket’s many features. The only caution I need to convey about this jacket: The inside jacket lining is the “waterproof” barrier in this jacket, so being a solid material, it will not allow air to pass through from the zippered vents to your skin. The air coming in the vents will pass between the outer shell and the inside lining and provide some cooling, but it won’t be the same as other vented jackets where the air comes all the way through the inner lining (usually nylon mesh) and passes over your skin. Anyway, consider this jacket to be a great choice for cold to mild weather, but when it gets hot, you’ll be coming back to buy a mesh style :)
