The Akira glove offers very heavy duty protection for racing or street riding. The challenge with a glove of this type is to offer the maximum amount of protection while retaining the rider’s “feel” for the controls. This glove uses Kangaroo hide for the palm which is known to be a leather that provides good protection while being thin and comfortable. It’s also resistant to damage from sweat. Just take a close look at the list of bulleted features listed above and you get the idea there is some serious protection here (I won’t rehash it all in this paragraph).
