Sizing Information:
This glove is specifically produced for those that have longer than normal, or shorter than normal fingers. If you don’t have this fit problem then try another style!
Held gloves are sold in glove sizes rather than the normal “alpha” sizes you are used to in the US. But fear not, we offer a comprehensive guide to choosing a Held glove size for you:
And here is some information about the long term care of Held gloves:
We hesitate to get too scientific with the finger measurements since with gloves, even a small measured difference in size makes a big fit difference, but just to give you the idea, we measured length of the middle finger of a size 10/short at 3” and the length of the 10/long at 3 5/8”. So presumably, the long version is about 5/16” longer than “normal” and the short is about 5/16” shorter than “normal”.
The Nero gloves are a great option for the street and touring rider. They have the protection you would expect out of an amateur race glove with the style of a street or cruiser glove. The knuckles are covered by a ridged molded protector, and the base of the palm is reinforced with a heavy duty leather overlay for added abrasion protection. The leather in this glove is made by a company called Pittards. “Pittards” leather is treated to offer great abrasion resistance yet feels soft and thin (for good control feel). Their gauntlet can be adjusted with a Velcro closure, and there is an additional Velcro strap at the wrist to keep the glove securely on your hand in the event of a fall. Take the “View Larger Pictures” link above to see some good closeups of this glove.
Caution: The protective material used in the heel area of the hand is a bit abrasive feeling so keep that away from your shiny paint job!

I bought these held gloves for a sport touring trip I had planned. I did not spend any time breaking them in, I put them on as we left and took them off again 5 days later. I love them. (Read more...)
