As of this writing, the Phantom gloves would be the absolute “end all” protective/functional racing glove we can offer you. Sliding these things on feels like I’m ready for battle! And the list of materials used is really exotic: stingray protective panels (yes that thing that looks like an airplane and swims around the Caribbean), kangaroo hide for the palms which gives great protection and offers good feel for the controls, Kevlar for rub thru protection and the list goes on…(see above bulleted list). Those who will shell out the bucks for this glove probably already know what they want, so I won’t go on and on, but if you weren’t sure what you wanted other than “the very best” then you’ve found it.
