Product Manager

A Challenge With Variety!

New Enough Ltd. is an online motorcycle apparel retailer based in Lubbock, TX. You can learn more about us by clicking here. We are seeking a person to help us with creating online content for our retail website.

Key duties are:

  • Review vendor materials to identify new products for our website; also must review existing products for changes and enhancements.
  • Create SKU’s in our system for all new products including correct vendors, purchase prices, selling prices, etc.
  • Order samples of new products for feature photography, overall evaluation and fit.
  • Write relevant text to help customers understand features, functions, fit, etc. of all types of motorcycle apparel.
  • Photograph key features of products using live models for use on the website.
  • Assist sales people in answering product questions as they arise and revise our product presentations as necessary.

In order to succeed, the Product Manager needs these skills:

  • Excellent writing skills (use of correct English, clear sentences, consistent and correct use of industry-specific terms): Enough creative thought must be given to each product presentation to relate product features to practical uses for our customers.
  • Knowledge of motorcycling: Only an experienced motorcyclist will have the insight to write about our products in a way that has meaning to our customers.
  • General computer skills: We operate on Windows workstations using common programs such as Firefox, Thunderbird, Excel, Quickbooks and Adobe Lightroom. Experience with specific programs is not necessary, but significant skill in working with common programs and computers in general is absolutely necessary.
  • Attention to detail: In the online retail business, our product presentations must be as as factually correct as possible, because if they are not, we’ll hear about it! Those who cannot focus on details need not apply!

This is a full time salaried position. Normal working hours are, well… normal: 8 to 5, Monday thru Friday. Vacation and holiday pay are provided. Salary is negotiable. This individual will need to have significant in-person interaction with all of our staff and local vendor representatives, so we are not considering off-site employment.
