Our Two Cents

These air overpants are now discontinued and we got a great deal on a load of these from our distributor. Only bad thing is we could only get smaller sizes (use the drop down menu above to see what is left). But if your size is available, they are a heck of a bargain. My comments from last year… These mesh pants are about the “breeziest” pants I’ve seen (is breeziest a word?). When I hold them up to the light, I can see through the entire leg (back to front). And since the mesh used in these pants is a large weave material, they should work well. This design is great for commuters and touring riders. They have long side zippers which enables you to step into (or out of) them without stopping to change clothes. The side zippers zip up from the bottom as well as from the top down. Zipping from the top down is handy to allow you to reach into your pants pockets without taking the pants off. To allow for some adjustment for different heights these pants have a nifty adjustment method to allow you to raise or lower the armor in the knee by about +/- 1”. I also like the large reflective patches on the side of the pants to increase night time visibility.
