Our Two Cents
The Nelson Rigg CL-150 Expandable Sport Tail Bag is designed for either solo mounting or dual mounting. This means it can be directly connected to Nelson Rigg saddlebags making a complete luggage system that can be easily mounted/removed from the motorcycle and transported as one unit. This tail bag used in conjunction with Nelson Rigg saddlebags would give sufficient storage space for an extended road trip, even though it is larger than some of the other Nelson Rigg tail bags, it still looks great on sportbikes. This tail bag has a fully expandable main compartment. When fully expanded, we were able to fit our multi day package inside and a leather jacket with elbow, shoulder and back armor as well! A full face helmet also fits with ease (main compartment expanded) and there’s plenty of room to spare. This bag includes a warranty registration card and is backed by Nelson Riggs lifetime no hassle warranty. The Nelson Rigg tail bag is a great fit to the CL-900 NR saddlebags on my Ninja 500.
