If the cargo for your trip won’t fit in compact saddlebags, the Nelson Rigg CL-850 Touring Saddlebags may be the answer. Constructed of top quality UV-treated Tri-Max® Ballistic Nylon with a fully lined interior, reflective piping, fail safe heavy duty zippers with pull tabs, protective material on the underside to prevent slipping and protect the motorcycle. A 100% waterproof rainstorm covers and adjustable shoulder strap are included. These saddlebags are designed for either solo mounting or dual mounting meaning they can be directly connected to Nelson Rigg tail bags making a complete luggage system that can be easily mounted and removed from the motorcycle which also makes it very easy to transport as one unit (one of my favorite features!) Each saddlebag also has carrying handles for easy transport, storage pockets inside for keeping smaller items organized and separated, exterior compression straps for securing your cargo, front facing mesh pockets perfect for water bottles or cans, heat shield on the underside, and neoprene padding at the contact points to protect the motorcycle. The saddlebags are attached to each other with heavy duty adjustable Velcro straps which allows you to mount them at the proper height for you motorcycle, and the support inserts that you install make these saddlebags maintain their shape even when empty. I ordered a set of Nelson-Rigg soft bags (see picture) about 4 months ago. Unfortunately a seam split (probably due to a sewing defect).
