Sizing Information:

The overall fit of this jacket will work for the “average build”. The size chart provided by Tour Master is pretty accurate although we feel the jackets run slightly bigger than indicated… maybe 1/2 size (especially when the outer shell and windproof lining is removed). If you are in between sizes definitely choose the smaller size. Sleeve lengths listed are from the shoulder seam to the end of the arm cuff.

The Flex 2 is Tour Master’s second generation of their fully convertible sport riding jacket. This is essentially two jackets in one. Starting with the extreme of cold and/or wet, you can use the jacket with the outer textile shell along with the removable thermal liner. This will provide warmth and moderate protection against water (this jacket is advertised as having a “water resistant” shell, but not waterproof). For more moderate temperatures, you can go with the textile shell without the thermal liner. And finally for hot dry weather, remove the solid textile outer panel and you’ve got a very nice full mesh jacket that offers all of the same storage and adjustment features that you get with the textile shell in place. For crash protection CE approved armor is included in the shoulders and elbows. You also get a removable triple density back pad. Use the jacket’s rear zipper for attachment to Tour Master/Cortech riding pants. Take the “View Larger Pictures” link above to see some good closeups of this jackets and its features.
