The Flex 2 is Tour Master’s second generation of their fully convertible sport riding jacket. This is essentially two jackets in one. Starting with the extreme of cold and/or wet, you can use the jacket with the outer textile shell along with the removable thermal liner. This will provide warmth and moderate protection against water (this jacket is advertised as having a “water resistant” shell, but not waterproof). For more moderate temperatures, you can go with the textile shell without the thermal liner. And finally for hot dry weather, remove the solid textile outer panel and you’ve got a very nice full mesh jacket that offers all of the same storage and adjustment features that you get with the textile shell in place. For crash protection CE approved armor is included in the shoulders and elbows. You also get a removable triple density back pad.
