The 7-2 jacket offers sharp but simple styling in a multipurpose leather sport jacket. The leather and armor used is thick and would do a very good job of protecting the rider in case of a fall. The jacket includes two shoulder and two elbow armor pieces which are CE approved “turtle shell” type. There is a foam back pad also and this can be upgraded to a CE approved back pad if desired (take link below). For cold weather use, the jacket has a removable vest-type liner. It really doesn’t have any provisions for venting so consider this style for cold to mild weather use only. You can zip this jacket to Alpinestars leather pants to make a full 2pc suit. For this style, I’d recommend the Alpinestars Bat Pants which are more of a street/sport style rather than a racing style.
