This product is sold in European sizes. You can choose a European size based upon your US chest size using Alpinestars’ sizing chart. And for those who may have a bit of a belly, we encourage you to consider our estimated max belly sizes listed below. Choose a jacket size that will accommodate both your chest and your belly. Keep in mind that this is a fitted, sport cut jacket, so choosing a size based upon these recommendations will result in a snug fit which should be comfortable while sitting/riding, but may be restrictive while standing and walking. Those who don’t like a snug fit should either consider another style or buy one size larger than recommended.

The Alloy jacket is a leather/mesh hybrid that offers the excellent abrasion protection of leather and the cooling properties of mesh. This will be a welcome idea for people that like to ride in the heat of summer, but don’t want to compromise on protection. To help extend the use of this jacket a full sleeve wind/water resistant liner is included that can be quickly installed when needed. The liner will block the flow of cooler air coming through the shell of the jacket. The jacket includes heavy duty armor throughout. The shoulders and elbows come with removable CE approved turtle-shell type armor that is quite substantial, yet still fairly flexible and comfortable. This jacket also includes a foam backpad and some foam armor pieces in the chest area. The backpad can be upgraded to the CE approved RC back protector, and the chest padding can be upgraded to the optional Bionic Chest Pads for increased protection (see links below). This jacket also has some nice comfort features. There are large accordion stretch panels on the shoulders that will help with comfort and mobility in the riding position, and the neck has a really nice neoprene collar.
