The Interceptor leather jacket was built for style, protection and comfort. This jacket has many of the features common with Alpinestars leather jackets along with some additional comfort features. Stretch zones located on the shoulders and elbows of the jacket give it a comfortable and natural feel. There is also stretchable fabric on the inside of the sleeves providing unrestricted movement. The styling of the jacket is a bit “retro” with the quilted stitching on the shoulders, elbows and waist. The jacket includes a removable thermal vest liner and will work great in cold to mild temperatures, but due to the lack of venting I wouldn’t recommend it for the extreme heat. The high quality leather will provide good abrasion protection, and the shoulders and elbows come equipped with removable CE approved armor to protect you in the event of a crash. A foam back pad is also included and can be upgraded to an optional CE Certified RC Back Protector (see link below). Additional foam padding is located in the front of the jacket to provide your chest with some impact protection.
