The P-Rock jacket offers the same protection as you’ll find in other Alpinestars sport jackets in a package with a bit more sedate styling. I think this style will appeal to street riders and cruiser riders. The shell is a combination of heavy weight cowhide with some textile panels in the underarms and torso, so all the critical areas are covered, but the textile panels make the jacket a little lighter and a bit more comfortable than a full leather jacket. The jacket has CE approved “turtle shell” type armor in the elbows and shoulders and a foam back pad. The back pad can be upgraded with the CE approved pad below if you like. Zippered venting is included on the front and back of the jacket for warmer weather and there is a vest-type removable thermal liner which will be handy for cooler weather. A full circumference zipper is included which allows you to attach this jacket to Alpinestars pants.
