The TZ-1 combines the protection of leather and armor with convenience features—all for a good price. To provide comfort in a wide range of temperatures, you can remove the zip-in liner and maximize the use of the perforated area between the neck and chest. And for cooler weather zip in the liner and you’re good to go. A very sharp looking jacket that is accentuated by the reflective logos on the chest and sleeve. One feature that really contributes to the comfort of the jacket is the stretch Kevlar panels. Placed on the under side of the sleeves, these panels provide ease in arm movements (great for a sport bike riding position). The GP armor in the the elbows and shoulders along with a soft foam back pad provides impact protection to go along with the full grain leather. Adjustable sleeve cuffs and adjustable waist also aid in fitting. Contrary to some Alpinestars literature, this model is supplied with the full circumference zipper for attachment to Alpinestars pants.
