Sizing Information

This jacket is sold in men’s chest sizes. You can order the size you normally wear in a men’s suit coat, or if you only know your men’s “alpha” size, you can go here for conversion. We recommend you measure your chest and belly to make sure you are selecting a jacket big enough to accommodate both. The belly size in this jacket will be about 6” less than the chest size (example, a 46 jacket will have a max belly of about 40”).

Our Two Cents

The Razor Jacket offers excellent impact and abrasion protection with thick leather construction and CE approved “GP” type armor. The jacket shell is mostly leather with panels of abrasion resistant Aramid in non-critical areas. I’m a fan of jackets with this construction because the slightly stretchy material gives good freedom of motion and cuts down the overall weight of a sport jacket like this. You’ll appreciate the perforated leather panels which make up over half the surface area of this jacket. Perforated leather is much more comfortable than jackets with zippered vents when the weather heats up. But the flip side is that you can’t close off the air flow in cold weather. The jacket comes with a full-sleeve, removable insulated vest for cooler weather which should help extend the comfort range of this jacket, but even still, with the perfs everywhere, I’d recommend this jacket for cool to hot weather use (but not really cold weather). The armor used in the shoulders and elbows is a combination of molded plastic cups over padded material, which has been in use for years. It’s well regarded for being able to disperse impact loads while being low profile and comfortable. This jacket has both a short rear, and full circumference zipper (well, maybe not FULL circumference, more like 3/4) for connection to Fieldsheer leather or textile pants. I like the overall simple styling and protection features found in this jacket, especially for the money. Take the “View Larger Pictures” link above to see some good shots of this jacket’s features.

The icon vest sizing was right on the money! Excellent quality, allows massive amounts of air to flow thru but doesn't flap while riding! Very adjustable from all sides and the reflective strips are large and look mean! On the picture i'm wearing ... (Read more...)

This perforated jacket leather is perfect for SoCal riders; works pretty well between 70-90 degrees without the thermal inner lining (which is removable). Air flows really well thru the front though an arm air slot would be neat. Good quality le... (Read more...)
