Icon Daytona Leather Jacket
Sizing Information:
The sizing on this jacket is comparable to other “alpha” sized jackets and is also in line with men’s clothing sizes, so choose the size you normally wear in jackets and shirts. If you want to double check sizing using a tape measure, refer to the chart below. Don’t be concerned that the belly dimensions are much bigger than your measurement—this is part of the “relaxed” styling. Side torso zippers expand the belly region another 5 inches or so if necessary (beyond what we show in the table here).
| Size | Max Chest | Max Belly |
| Small | 38 | 32 |
| Medium | 40 | 36 |
| Large | 44 | 38 |
| XL | 46 | 40 |
| XXL | 48 | 42 |
| XXXL | 50 | 44 |
| XXXXL | 52 | 46 |
The Daytona offers motorcycle weight leather along with CE rated protectors in the shoulders and elbows to provide crash protection. There is also a foam back pad included. The armor is a rubberized “turtle shell” type. Take the “View Larger Pictures” link above to see some good close-up pictures of the armor and this jacket’s other features. Climate control is accomplished with zippered vents on the shoulders and rear exhaust vents on the back of the jacket. Also, there is perforated leather used under the arms and down the sides of the torso. For colder weather, you get a removable thermal liner that is a full-sleeve type (which will help block the flow of cold air through the perforated leather sections). Another feature unique to the Icon line are the long side zippers on each side of the torso. If you raise the zippers you get a belly expansion of about 5” Icon says this is a feature for “Busa” riders… Hmmmm.
