Sizing Information:

The sizing on this jacket is comparable to other “alpha” sized jackets and is also in line with men’s clothing sizes, so choose the size you normally wear in jackets and shirts. If you want to double check sizing using a tape measure, refer to the chart below. Don’t be concerned that the belly dimensions are much bigger than your measurement—this is part of the “relaxed” styling. Side torso zippers expand the belly region another 5 inches or so if necessary (beyond what we show in the table here).

Size Max Chest Max Belly
Small 38 32
Medium 40 36
Large 44 38
XL 46 40
XXL 48 42
XXXL 50 44
XXXXL 52 46

The Vintage Flattrack jacket is a comfortable jacket with a unique design. The jacket has somewhat of a relaxed fit and should be comfortable both on and off the bike. The zippered shoulder vents and rear exhaust vents help you stay comfortable on warmer rides, and a removable full sleeve insulating liner is also included making this jacket great for a wide range of temperatures. A good amount of protection is offered in this jacket. A flexible and comfortable type of removable CE approved armor is included in the shoulders and elbows, and the high quality leather offers a great amount of abrasion protection. Along both sides of the jacket are zippers that allow the lower half of the jacket to expand when opened to prevent the jacket from bunching when you are on the bike or to accommodate a bit of a belly. Take the “View Larger Pictures” link above for a good set of close-up photos.

Note on the orange color: Wow, orange is hard to photograph! If you look at our photo gallery, you’ll see the factory images show a reddish orange and our in-house photos are more pumpkin. Our consensus in the office is that the actual color is about half way between the two versions.
