The Aura leather jacket is a sport style with a feminine cut. The leather is a medium weight which is appropriate for ladies sizing. The jacket was constructed with some features that will help to give the jacket a nice comfortable fit; the jacket has expansion zippers in the waist and some adjustable straps in the back that will allow you to customize the “hourglass” shape of the jacket. These expansion zippers will also allow the jacket to lay better while sitting on a bike rather than riding up (take the “View Larger Pictures” link above to see). This jacket should work well in mild to warm weather. For warmer rides the jacket includes two zippered bicep vents and two zippered exhaust vents effectively channeling air through the jacket. For protection the jacket comes with removable CE “turtle shell” type protectors in the shoulders and elbows and a foam spine pad. The foam spine pad can be upgraded to the optional CE approved back protector (see link below). This jacket has a full circumference zipper for connection to compatible Joe Rocket pants. The connection zipper also comes with the mating half that can be sewn into the pants of your choice (note: at the time of this writing, JR does not offer ladies sport riding pants with a full zipper, but maybe they have something in the pipeline?). There is a good amount of reflective piping completely outlining the back of the jacket providing good nighttime visibility.
