Choose the pants based upon your waist size. Inseam measurements are given below. Keep in mind that sport pants like this only go to the top of the foot, so add about 1 1/2” to compare to the inseam you normally buy in jeans.

The Speedmaster 5.0 pants are a great option for someone trying to put together a two piece suit out of a jacket and pants. The pants offer high quality protection at a moderate price. The pants come with foam hip padding and CE approved knee protectors along with adjustable/replaceable knee sliders. There are stretchy panels above the knees for added comfort and mobility, and zippered calf closures for easy on and off. One new feature on this style is the suede material used on the inside of the knee. The softer material will be less likely to scratch your bike’s paint. Good idea! As far as fit, the pants have a good waist design. There are two side Velcro straps to help you customize the fit and the closure at the waist is a combination of a snap and Velcro-close strap. The strap serves to keep you from popping the button open when you are bent over. I also like the high kidney padding in the back. This will help overlap with a jacket to give you good coverage even when in a tuck position. The pants have a full circumference zipper for attachment to Joe Rocket jackets (sorry, but the zipper is different from all other brands I’ve seen). You do get the mating half of the zipper so you could adapt these pants to a different brand jacket by having a tailor replace the zipper in your jacket with the one supplied with the pants.
