Joe Rocket Super Ego Leather Jacket
Sizing Information:
The fit of these jackets is just a touch smaller than most other “alpha” sized jackets, so if you tend to be between sizes then I’d advise you to choose the next bigger size, but if you are almost always one size then choose that size (example: if you are always a medium, then buy the medium jacket, but if you sometimes take a large and sometimes take a medium, then try the large). If you need help choosing an “alpha” take a look at Joe Rocket’s sizing chart which is based upon measurements.
This jacket is really two jackets in one. It’s a full leather jacket which looks great and works great in cooler weather, but it’s constructed to let you remove a large portion of the jacket’s outer shell to reveal a nicely made mesh jacket. The leather over the shoulders (and the armor) remains in place to provide the impact protection regardless of whether you are using the leather outer shell or not. Take the “View Larger Pictures” link above for some good close-up photos of this jacket in action! The short rear zipper could attach to compatible Joe Rocket pants in either leather, mesh or textile (depending upon your climate). If you like the concept of this jacket and prefer an all-textile version, then have a look at the Alter Ego Jacket.
