Joe Rocket Twist Leather Jacket

Have a look at Joe Rocket’s sizing chart. We feel this size chart gives an accurate estimate of size for this product. The overall cut of this jacket is more “casual” than most sport style motorcycle jackets, so it won’t be as tight as other Joe Rocket jackets of the same size. The more loose fit is intentional given the cruiser/retro styling of the jacket.

The Twist jacket is aimed at cruiser and vintage riders. The medium brown leather has a “distressed” finish that is made to appear like a very old leather jacket, and the cream (and/or red) contrast also adds to the vintage look. The leather is thick and comfortable and should provide good abrasion protection in case of a fall. The jacket has pockets for the addition of armor. We’d recommend the dual density type armor shown below. It’s a lower profile armor that would not detract from the looks of the jacket. You could also use GP type armor but those pieces are more bulky and you might not like the look. You can also add the optional CE spine pad (also shown below). A lot of vintage/retro jackets aren’t even available for use with armor, so the design flexibility this jacket offers is a definite plus if you are interested in impact protection. For climate control, you get two zippered biceps vents and two rear zippered exhaust vents. For cold weather use, the jacket comes with a vest type thermal liner (removable).
