Shift SR-1 Leather Jacket

This jacket is sold in men’s “alpha” sizing. We find this jacket runs smaller than the manufacturer’s sizing chart by approximately one full size, so we recommend you buy one size larger than the size you normally buy in men’s clothing. You can also measure yourself and use our recommended size chart (we’ve also listed Shift’s chart for your reference). Make sure you are choosing a jacket large enough to accommodate both your chest and waist (if your belly is bigger than your waist use the belly measurement).

The SR-1 jacket is a full sport style leather jacket. The articulated design provides a comfortable and natural feel when in the sport bike riding position. This jacket is intended to fit snug, but the strategically placed flex areas allow you a full range of motion. The thick leather shell offers superior abrasion protection. The jacket comes complete with removable CE approved armor that has a hard outer shell and a softer padding on the interior. Unlike most sport jackets, the armor is anchored to the shell of the jacket with Velcro rather than being installed in fabric pockets. Fixing the armor directly to the shell holds the armor in place better in case of a fall. This method of armor installation is pretty much the standard for better racing suits. A thin back pad is also included. Perforated panels in the front and back of the jacket help to keep you comfortable during the warmer temperatures, and a removable vest liner can be quickly installed for use when the temperature drops.
