The suits are offered in European sizes, so you can select the size using Alpinestars sizing chart using your chest and waist measurements. If you have a bit of a belly, please also measure and compare to the following table. Makes sure you are selecting a suit size that will accommodate your chest, belly and waist (from the Alpinestars chart). Height range for a 2pc suit is a bit taller than in a 1pc suit, so if you are a bit taller than average, this style is a good choice. Estimated maximum height for this suit: smaller sizes about 5’10”, for mid-size suits about 6’, and for the larger suits about 6’2”.

The Octane 2pc is a great choice for sport street riders and amateur track riders. The construction of a 2pc suit allows you to detach the jacket from the pants and wear it separately. And when you want to wear the pants, say for a track event or sport riding, just zip the pants to the jacket with the full circumference zipper and you’ve got a full race suit style. This suit’s overall construction and features are excellent for a suit in this price range. The shell is made of thick, high quality cowhide. The protectors in the shoulders, elbows and knees are a CE rated type that are very substantial. This type armor is constructed of hard plastic over foam which is the type offered in most high-end race suits. There is also foam armor included for the hips and there is a foam back pad included. The front of this suit has a large perforated area to admit air which will be welcome in warmer weather (a feature not found on very many 2pc suits).
