Alpinestars SG-1 One Piece Race Suit
Sizing Information:
The suits are offered in European sizes, so you can select the size using Alpinestars sizing chart using your chest and waist measurements. If you have a bit of a belly, please also measure and compare to the following table. Make sure you are selecting a suit size that will accommodate your chest, belly and waist (from the Alpinestars chart). Height on these suits could be described as “average”. For the smaller suits, max height would be about 5’8”, for mid-size suits about 5’11”, and for the larger suits about 6’1”. If you are taller, then you will want to consider a 2pc suit or a jacket/sport pant combination which will give you more torso height.| Euro Size | Max Chest Size (inches) |

The emphasis for the SG-1 suit is ventilation. A very good portion of the front of this all leather race suit is perforated leather. And these perforations extend down a portion of the thighs as well. The perforations in the leather are larger than in most Alpinestars gear, so the air flow should be pretty good. The SG-1 is also a great value for amateur track riders or aggressive street riders. Its construction and features are excellent for a suit in this price range. It’s a full leather racing suit made of thick, high quality cowhide. The protectors in the shoulders, elbows and knees are a CE rated type that are very substantial. This type armor is constructed of hard plastic over foam which is the type offered in most high-end race suits. There is also foam armor included for the hips. The suit also comes with knee sliders as standard (which saves you about $40). One feature on this suit that is seldom found in this price range is the removable liner. You can take out the nylon liner and wash it when necessary. If you use the suit a lot, this will be welcome.
