Sizing Information
Fieldsheer offers sizing information on their website, but for the suits, the sizing tables seem all wrong. They indicate that the suits are all at least one size bigger than the stated size. So instead of recommending their chart, I’ve put together a chart below that will help you choose a size based upon your chest and belly size. It also offers an approximate height range. This table and suits are sized very much like suits from other major brands, so if you have experience in wearing or trying on suits, you probably have a good starting point on picking a suit that will fit. Two piece suits fit taller than one piece suits and are more comfortable while standing. They are not as “pre-curved”, so they will be more useful and comfortable for street use (and occasional track use) than a one piece suit.

Our Two Cents
The Radar Two piece suit offers a lot of flexibility for riders who want a jacket and pants that will separate and can be worn separately. Unlike many other two piece suits, this one offers full perforations on the front and back of the jacket and the front of the pants. For some reason, most two piece suits are solid leather and can be uncomfortably hot in warmer weather, but this one won’t be. Of course the suit is made of cowhide which feels like it is thick and high quality. The knees and elbows are fitted with CE approved “GP” type armor, which is a hard plastic over foam padding design. The shoulders have CE approved “turtle shell” type armor. You get an energy absorbing back pad and the hips come with some removable foam padding. There is Velcro for adding sliders. The jacket and pants connect with a full circumference zipper (actually reaches about 70% of the way around). I like the generous stretch zones above the shoulders, above the elbows, knees and below the waist. All these stretch areas make the suit more comfortable to wear in a tucked position on the bike. The jacket includes hand warmer pockets on the front and an inside wallet pocket which will come in handy for everyday street use.
