Sizing Information:
FirstGear offers a ladies sizing chart, which we usually find to be very accurate, but the ladies in our office tell me these pants are running about one dress size small. So you can use the chart, but select an “alpha” size based upon a ladies dress size one size bigger than you normally wear.
These women’s Mesh-Tex 2.0 pants are a great complement to any of the FirstGear hot weather jackets. They are styled much like other sport pants, but the majority of the pant is the same breathable mesh material used in the jackets. The pants are lined with a nylon mesh liner, which lets the air through but makes it where you can’t see through them. The pants come with EVA foam hip and knee pads. These pads are fairly thin, so the safety conscious will want to consider the optional Hiprotech armor in the hips and CE Core-Comp armor in the knees (see below to order). Like other sport type pants, these are tapered at the ankle and close with a zipper. Ideally you’d tuck these in boots, but you could also wear them with shoes or over lacer type boots (or any boot that isn’t bulky at the shin).
