The Mojave is a mesh jacket, primarily for warm weather riding. The entire jacket (with the exception of a small area of textile material around the pockets) is a mesh material that allows air to blow right through the jacket. To help extend the jacket’s comfort range, you get a Dry Tech Liner as standard (Powertrip and Joe Rocket share many design features with Joe Rocket gear). The liner works great on cool mornings to take the chill off and can be easily removed and stored when it warms up. The armor in the shoulders and elbows of this jacket is a CE approved “turtle shell” molded rubber type. The back protector supplied is dual density. The overall cut and functionality of the jacket is very much like a sport bike jacket, but there are a few styling things meant to appeal to a street or cruiser rider (subdued styling, snap waist adjusters, etc).
