Sizing Information:
The sizing on this jacket is comparable to other “alpha” sized jackets and is also in line with men’s clothing sizes, so choose the size you normally wear in jackets and shirts. If you want to double check sizing using a tape measure, refer to the chart below. Don’t be concerned that the belly dimensions are much bigger than your measurement—this is part of the “relaxed” styling. And there are snaps to cinch down the waist area another 2”.

The Cool Rod is a “loose weave” style jacket, so the wind blows right through the mesh material used. This jacket has a sharp looking but simple style to it and the cuffs and collar give it a jersey look. This jacket will work well in warm or hot weather and includes a full sleeve windproof liner for cooler days/mornings. The jacket comes with removable CE approved armor in the shoulders and elbows that is very flexible and comfortable (it feels a little like memory foam). A foam back protector is also included. The armor is perforated to maintain airflow. For increased nighttime visibility there is reflective piping across the shoulders and the back of the jacket. The jacket’s styling includes some subtle graphics and stitching on the sides of the torso. It adds some style without being a distraction. Good job!
