Alpinestars Ricard Drystar Textile Jacket
Sizing Information:
Choose a jacket size based upon what you normally buy in men’s clothing. If you want to measure yourself to help pick a size, have a look at Alpinestars’ sizing chart. And for those who may have a bit of a belly, we encourage you to consider our estimated max belly sizes listed below. Choose a jacket size that will accommodate both your chest and your belly. This jacket has a fairly narrow cut through the shoulders. If you have average or narrow shoulders, you’ll get along fine, but if you have wide/muscular shoulders, you probably should look at a different style.
| Alpha Size | Max Chest Size (inches) | Max Belly Size (inches) |
| Small | 38-40 | 35 |
| Medium | 40-42 | 38 |
| Large | 42-44 | 40 |
| XL | 44-46 | 42 |
| XXL | 46-48 | 44 |
| XXXL | 50-52 | 46 |
| XXXXL | 52-54 | 48 |
The Ricard Drystar jacket is a high-quality jacket with a simple style. It’s a longer style jacket which provides a bit more protection than the average sport jacket. This would be a perfect jacket for the rider that demands two things: keep me warm and keep me dry. This is a waterproof jacket that includes a removable full-sleeve liner that should work well in cold to mild temperatures. However, you might want to break out the mesh jacket when the weather heats up because this jacket doesn’t offer any features for warm weather comfort (other than removing the thermal liner). The sleeves, wrists and waist of this jacket are all adjustable allowing for a customizable fit and a way to block out unwanted air. For protection this jacket comes with removable CE turtle shell type armor in the shoulders and elbows and a foam back pad (CE upgrade back pad available below). There is also some removable padding in the torso of the jacket to provide some added protection to your chest (see upgraded Bionic Chest pads below). The jacket has a full circumference connection zipper to attach to Alpinestars pants. For added nighttime visibility there is reflective material running down the arms, across the chest and across the back.
